About Roberto Bellotti

R. B. graduated in Physics in 1988. Since 2019 he is Director of the Physics Department of the University of Bari. His research activity firstly focused on cosmic ray physics, participating in the discovery of high energy positrons in 2009. Research activity in the field of cosmic rays provided the scientific and cultural basis for developing methodologies, models and algorithms to be applied in the fields of medicine, social and environmental science, for classification of data and for the analysis of the related signals.
