About Michael Numan

I received my Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in Biopsychology. I am a Fellow of AAAS and APS. My research focuses on the neural mechanisms that regulate maternal behavior. I have also written three books on the neurobiology of parental behavior (2) and social behavior (1). My most recent book is The Parental Brain: Mechanisms, Development, and Evolution (Oxford University Press, 2020).
