If you are looking to link your research paper to your blog post, this can be done via the ‘Related content’ option on the right-hand side of the blog editing menu.

The different tabs available on the 'create a post' page, with the 'Related Content' tab highlighted by a red circle.

Click on ‘Related Content’ and then simply paste the link to your article and click save. After your post is published, the link will appear as a ‘Read the paper’ button, which will take users to the original article.

The actions bar from the top of a Community blog post, with the 'Read the paper' button highlighted by a red circle.

Make sure that you are adding a valid link to your blog post. A DOI link will not show correctly, please see the guidance below to find the best format for your paper.

If your paper was published in:

  • a Nature Portfolio journal, your link should be in this format: https://nature.com/articles/unique-article-number

    https://link.springer.com/article/unique-article-number
  • a BMC journal, your link should be in this format:
